About

Liz Potter

Intuitive, Integrative Somatic Practitioner

Best Selling Author

Creator of Nourish Your Nervous System™

Founder of The Self Resourced, LLC

Liz guides those who feel stuck, frozen, or overwhelmed back into the warm embrace of safety and flow,

returning to the vibrancy of life in a way that feels natural and sustainable.

She is an Integrative Somatic Practitioner specializing in embodied safety and nervous system regulation.

Her work focuses on helping the body soften out of protection and into a state where clarity, creativity, and freedom can return without force, fixing, or pressure.

With over 15 years of experience guiding clients, hosting and facilitating retreats, and immersive experiences, Liz creates environments where safety comes first.

Whether working one-on-one or within group and organizational settings, she designs containers that support real, lasting change through regulation, presence, and gentleness.

Liz’s 1:1 work is for individuals who sense that pushing harder is not effective. In private sessions, she works somatically with the nervous system through sensation, breath, awareness, and attuned presence. Sessions unfold at a pace the body can receive, supporting steady movement rather than spike-and-crash breakthroughs.

Clients often seek her out when other methods have not reached the root, or when navigating burnout, transition, leadership pressure, or deep fatigue and overwhelm.

In a business-to-business context, Liz partners with organizations, teams, and service-based leaders to create sustaining, repeatable experiences that extend beyond the moment itself.

These collaborations are designed to support regulation, integration, and resilience long after the experience ends.

Alongside her somatic and facilitation work, Liz offers intuitive, spirit-led, and mediumship sessions for clients seeking clarity, reassurance, and connection during times of transition or grief. These sessions may include bridging communication with loved ones who have crossed, offered with care, consent, and deep respect for the client’s emotional and nervous system readiness.

Liz approaches this work through an embodied, regulating lens—prioritizing safety, grounding, and integration. Messages are not forced or sensationalized, but arise naturally, supporting healing, meaning-making, and a felt sense of continuity rather than shock or dependence.

This work is invitational rather than predictive or directive. It is designed to support trust in one’s own inner knowing, offer gentle confirmation, and help clients feel accompanied—by both the living and those who remain connected beyond physical form.

In her off time, Liz can be found exploring the great outdoors -with a camera in hand.  Wandering forests and letting the natural world continue to inform her work with rhythm, safety, and flow.
